Natural Tooth Polish

Did you know that fluoride is extremely toxic? Fluoride exposure leads to weakened skeletal health, causes arthritis, is toxic to the thyroid, calcifies the ultra-important penial gland, harmful to fertility, kidneys, cardiovascular health and even your cognitive health. We stopped using fluoride toothpaste in our home a couple of years ago and since then, I've been searching for a more natural alternative.

I'm absolutely in love with our Natural Tooth Polish! It's filled with so much goodness for your teeth such as Xylitol, a natural sweetener derived from birch bark. It offers significant benefits for cavity and plaque prevention. Unlike regular sugar, xylitol is not fermentable by oral bacteria, meaning it does not produce the acids that cause tooth decay and cavities. It helps to maintain a neutral pH level in the mouth, reducing the overall acidity and creating an environment less conducive to harmful bacteria. Additionally, xylitol stimulates saliva production, which further aids in washing away food particles and neutralizing acids. Regular use of xylitol in dental care products like toothpaste, mouthwash, and chewing gum can effectively reduce plaque buildup, decrease the risk of cavities, and promote overall oral health. It also contains Hydroxyapatite which is organic eggshell powder. Hydroxyapatite is a rich source of calcium, phosphorus, strontium, zinc and copper that assists in remineralization of your pearly whites. Bentonite Clay is aged volcanic ash and has been shown to purify, detoxify and alkalize the mouth. Activated Charcoal acts to further detoxify the mouth as well as whiten your teeth. Baking Soda is also shown to whiten and clean teeth while alkalizing the mouth. We've also included Pink Himalayan Sea Salt which is a natural bacteria killer and bonds to contaminates. And for a subtle natural flavor, we've also included organic peppermint extract. Paired with the Xylitol, it gives our tooth polish a wonderful sweet minty flavor.

Simply wet your toothbrush, shake off the excess water and dip into the powder to get a small coating on top. You don't need much. Gently massage your teeth and gums and don't forget that tongue and roof of your mouth. Swirl and gargle with water for 5-10 seconds, circulating minerals and pulling any toxins out of your mouth. Use it alone or with your favorite fluoride-free toothpaste. One 2 oz jar should last 2+ months if brushing twice a day.
