Menthol Chest Rub

Menthol, Eucalyptus and Peppermint have been traditionally used for centuries to soothe coughs, relieve chest tightness and congestion and open airways and sinus pressure. This salve makes a great petroleum-free alternative to store-bought chest rubs.

Menthol crystals are derived from peppermint and provide a cooling, soothing effect.

This salve can also be used as a muscle rub and a vapor treatment. 

Directions: rub a generous amount onto chest, under nose or on the bottoms of your feet. Apply as often as needed.

Essential oils are very highly concentrated and potent and it is important to always check the specific safety data provided. Keep out of reach of children, the elderly, and pets. For external use only. Avoid contact with mucus membranes and eyes.
Some oils may cause skin irritation in people with sensitive skin. It is recommended to perform a patch test before use. To patch test, place one drop on the back of your wrist and leave for an hour or more. If irritation or redness occurs cleanse area and discontinue use.

Pregnancy:
Exposure to essential oils generally should be avoided.
