Palmer’s Apothecary
Acne Fighting Bundle
Are you, or is someone you know, currently taking a prescription medication to help fight acne? All too often, dermatologists will quickly write a prescription for a pharmaceutical to combat acne. But sometimes there's an easier, cleaner way. We've had dozens of customers who have ditched the pills and started using our Acne Fighting Bundle!
Start by washing your face with our Activated Charcoal Soap. Our Activated Charcoal soap made with activated bamboo charcoal powder. Charcoal gives the soap an extra boost to the lather’s natural cleansing power, helping to absorb and draw out oils and impurities from the skin. Activated bamboo charcoal has a microscopic, porous structure that also gives the bar soap a gentle texture which helps lift soils and impurities with only a hint of exfoliating. All this is means is that our Activated Charcoal bar soap is a great choice as a facial cleanser, and also a popular go-to for the bath or shower, too.
Next, apply a thin layer of our 1.5% Hyaluronic Acid Serum. Hyaluronic Acid helps control sebum production which is a greasy secretion that can plug up the pores and trigger breakouts. It also helps minimize scarring, helps hydrate the skin, improving its texture, impression, and function.
Finally, treat existing acne breakouts with our Tallow Balm or Tallow Stick. Tallow is antimicrobial, antibacterial and antifungal. It contains so much goodness: Vitamin A: Also known as retinol, vitamin A promotes skin renewal and can reduce the appearance of acne. Essential Fatty Acids: Beef tallow is rich in essential fatty acids that help maintain the skin's moisture barrier, reducing the likelihood of breakouts. Anti-Inflammatory Properties: Beef tallow contains Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA), which has shown anti-inflammatory effects, reducing redness and inflammation associated with acne. Antimicrobial Properties: The presence of palmitoleic acid, a monounsaturated fatty acid with antimicrobial properties, helps control acne-causing bacteria on the skin.
